Sat at the dinner table the other day, my 11 year old son asked me how many jobs I'd had in my life. I said "How many jobs do you think that I've had?" He said he knew of three, I said "I think it's over 20, would you like to count them?"
I then recited my employment history, I'll spare you the details for now! :-) However, by the time I'd finished, my son had counted 27 in all. I was stunned, but like when I had my "aha" moment and realised what my life is about, what it had all been leading up to (i.e. becoming a Life Coach) I then realised that these 27 jobs, along with my two periods of unemployment, have prepared me to be able to understand a lot about being human.
I suppose first having a broken engagement and before entering a 25 years + marraige, four children (two boys, two girls) and now two grandsons is an impressive CV for a Life Coach; not forgetting my year at Bible school in 1979/1980 and the public speaking that I did around that time.
Maybe it's possible to get a handle on life at an early age, maybe I'm just a slow starter? But I know that my life experiences and the knowledge of personal development gained in the past twenty years or so, along with my Life Coaching qualification make me the kind of person who can show people how to get the most out of their lives.
